love the show...have been tuning for a while now.
I've never felt compelled to write to a dj before asking them to play something - however - I've discovered an amazing new album - it's very underground at the moment - but really should be getting more attention. It's on the British independant label 'Some Bizzare' - called 'Gary Lucas Vs The Dark Poets - Beyond The Pale'...and it's excellent - please play something from the album on your show (British underground Rock/Post Punk/Electronica outfit The Dark Poets are a band that are worthy of note) - on this album they collaborate with Jeff Buckley/Captain Beefheart guitarist and all round axe God and leading world post punk avant rock figure 'Gary Lucas'....and their work together produces some seriously impressive moments - check out the tracks 'Prime Time' 'The judgement at Midnight' and 'Real Horrorshow'....I wouldn't want you to not get to hear this....I'm sure the radio station should have/be able to get hold of a copy - seriously - this is a hot tip - check it out dude...
anyways. Like I said - never have I felt compelled to write to a radio dj before - and you're my first...my fate lies in your hands.
cheers
