Radiohead Remix For Classical Album

added 04 July 2008 at 10.28

Is there nothing that Thom Yorke cannot do? The Radiohead frontman has turned his hand to remixing a track for a classical album. As you'd expect, the singer' remix is decidedly avant garde...

Thom Yorke will be joined by former members of The Beta Band and Gorillaz for the project entitled 'Cortical Songs'.

Ther album of classical has been put together by John Matthias who contributed violin to Radiohead's 'The Bends' and composer Nick Ryan. The album will be released on July 21.

Joining Yorke on remixing duties will be former Verve guitarist Simon Tong and one-time Beta Band ivory tinkler John Maclean.
